Maybe if women could get to a point where they no longer need to tear each other down and be catty and/or judgmental towards one another... eventually we could get to a point where men might also learn to respect us as well... However how can we fault them for judging us when even we can't be bothered to respect each other's differences?

On that note, I vehemently suggest reading Slut, by Leora Tanenbaum... The book is a painful reminder that although not always, often, women tend to be the worst and most cruel enemies of other women just like them... which in turn helps keep alive the never-ending cycle of abuse...
