Both Lexi and Ramsey are still incredibly flawed and prone to screwing up; but that drama alone isn't enough to sustain the excitement in their story... Enter JACK, (who was morally repugnant enough in the first book, to actually announce his engagement to "the snake" otherwise known as Bekah, only minutes after literally screwing Lexi up against a wall at his birthday/secret engagement party!!) who still thinks it's ok to try to hook up with Lexi , only moments before he has to walk down the isle... So anyone that held out hope that this character had anything remotely redeemable about him will finally get their answer in this book!
With this book, we get to enjoy the final stretch in Lexi's battle to move on from the toxicity that is Jack and once and for all, break all those unhealthy patterns that started to take over her love life, the first moment she laid eyes on and unwittingly began to let him in.
